It's new music Friday and we got some fresh Summer jams from The Weeknd, Madonna, Playboi Carti, Purple Disco Machine, Tov Lo, Madison Beer, Ty Dolla $ign, Mattei & Omich,  Dom Dolla and the return of Nelly Furtado! Have a great weekend and enjoy the summer vibes!

The Weeknd, Madonna, Playboi Carti - Popular

The WeekndMadonna, and Playboi Carti collaborated on a new song called "Popular," which is part of the soundtrack for The Weeknd's upcoming HBO show, The Idol. The song is about someone who desperately wants to be famous and is willing to do anything to achieve it.

Madonna and Playboi Carti feature on the track, which has a fast-paced rhythm and thumping beats. In an interview, The Weeknd revealed that he had always wanted to work with Madonna and co-produce an album with her.

Tove Lo - I like u

Tove Lo has recently released her new single 'I like u', which follows her fifth album 'Dirt Femme' and her recent single 'Borderline'. The song is inspired by the first time she saw her husband and is part of the 'Dirt Femme' world.

Tove Lo has previously written with the likes of Dua LipaLorde, and Ellie Goulding, and she is currently feeling very creatively inspired. The singer-songwriter will donate a portion of her streaming sales to The Trevor Project, which is the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ youth.

The Moni Haworth-directed video for 'I like u' follows Tove Lo wearing anime-like makeup as she sings and dances to her own song at a karaoke bar in Los Angeles' Koreatown. The song is a nod to 90's and Y2K dance music and is perfect for the Pride month.

Madison Beer - Home To Another One

Madison Beer has released a new single called "Home To Another One". This song is the first taste of her upcoming sophomore album, Silence Between Songs. On this track, Beer reflects on an ex and the struggle to move on while knowing the ex has moved on.

Overall, Madison Beer's new single is a great start to her new era, and fans are excited to see what else she has in store for them.

Ty Dolla $ign - Motion

Ty Dolla $ign has released his first new music of the year with the track "Motion". The song is produced by Will Larsen and Stryv and comes with an Alex Bittan-directed music video,

"Motion" is an uptempo track that sees Ty Dolla $ign experimenting with acid house, and we like the results!

In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Ty Dolla $ign revealed that "Motion" was created to get people dancing. He said, "I just wanted to make something that felt good, that made people want to move, that made people want to dance".

Dom Dolla, Nelly Furtado - Eat Your Man

Nelly Furtado has made a comeback with her first song in over seven years, "Eat Your Man," produced by Dom Dolla.
The song is a reference to her hit song "Maneater" and features Dolla's trancey bassline and jittery drums. The song also includes callbacks to Furtado's other hits, "I'm Like a Bird" and "Say It Right"

"Eat Your Man" is an unapologetic and intoxicating track that showcases Furtado's vocals and Dolla's production skills. We are excited to finally get some new music from Nelly Furtado!

Purple Disco Machine - Bad Company

Oh, this is just fabulous. Purple Disco Machine's latest samples the classic dance banger, "Fascinated," by Company B, and the video is oozing with 80's nostalgia.  It's just pure fun! Check it out.

Mattei & Omich - Ain't Nothin Goin' On But The Rent

I love this classic track from Gwen Guthrie and all of its incarnations over the years. Here is a latest up to date version that will be sure to have you groovin' on the dance floor!
